Year 6 Leavers' Party!
Although we're sad to say goodbye to our wonderful Year 6 pupils, we made sure to celebrate their time with us in style!
The children enjoyed an unforgettable afternoon filled with a bouncy castle, delicious pizza, popcorn, and an epic water fight on the field!
It was the perfect way to spend the hottest day of the week, with plenty of laughter, smiles, and memories to treasure as they prepare for their next adventure.
We are so proud of everything our Year 6 children have achieved and wish them every success as they move on to secondary school. We know they will all go on to do amazing things!

Year 6 End of Year Production – Hercules
What a spectacular performance from our incredible Year 6 pupils! We are so proud of every single one of them for bringing Hercules to life with such confidence, enthusiasm, and talent.
The show was packed with laughter, action, fantastic songs, and plenty of fun. Every child shone on stage, and it was wonderful to see so many stars performing with confidence and joy.
The performance ended with a well-deserved standing ovation and thunderous applause from our proud parents, families, and audience—a fitting tribute to all the hard work and dedication the children have shown.
Congratulations, Year 6! You truly gave us a performance to remember, and we couldn't be prouder.

Helping Hands Programme
Our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils enjoyed a fantastic morning taking part in the Helping Hands Programme delivered by Loudmouth Education & Training.
Through engaging activities and discussions, the children learned about the importance of staying safe, recognising their early warning signs, identifying trusted adults they can talk to, and understanding how to protect themselves in different situations.
The session was informative, interactive, and empowering, giving our pupils valuable knowledge and strategies to help them stay safe and make positive choices.
A big thank you to Loudmouth Education for delivering such an important and engaging programme.

💙 Father's Day Celebration
Our Father's Day event was a fantastic afternoon, and it was lovely to welcome so many fathers and father figures into school. Beat the keeper was certainly one of the highlights and was enjoyed by children and adults alike! A huge thank you to our wonderful PTA for organising another successful event and for everything they do to support our school community.

Yesterday afternoon our current Year 3 children welcomed the Year 2 classes for a special transition session. Working together in mixed groups, the children took part in a range of creative art activities, giving them the opportunity to get to know one another, explore the Year 3 environment and begin building new friendships ahead of September.
It was wonderful to see our current Year 3 pupils acting as fantastic role models, showing kindness, encouragement and teamwork throughout the afternoon. They demonstrated our school values beautifully by helping younger children, sharing ideas and making everyone feel welcome.
There were lots of smiles, creativity and laughter as the children collaborated, communicated and supported one another. We are incredibly proud of how they represented our school and look forward to welcoming our new Year 3 for their transition day with their new teacher next week.

On this day, children are welcome to come to school in their own clothes. In exchange, we kindly ask for a donation of a bottle of fizz (e.g. prosecco, wine or soft drink), which will support our upcoming Summer Fayre.

As we prepare to join our new Trust, our children have been taking part in a wonderful collaborative art project celebrating our shared identity as a family of schools. Every school within the Trust has been invited to create a collection of individual pieces of artwork which will be combined digitally to form a spectacular mosaic of St Raphael's wings. Each child's contribution represents an important part of this shared creation, symbolising how every member of our community has a unique role to play as we begin this exciting new chapter together. We are incredibly proud of the creativity, care and enthusiasm our children have shown, and we look forward to seeing the completed artwork unveiled in the coming months.
